Yvonne is originally from Kelowna, British Columbia Canada and moved to Utah in 2008 when she met her husband Brian who was born and raised in St George. They have 3 animated daughters; Presley, Peyton and Halle and they are home bodies at heart.

Yvonne went to business school and received her degree from the University of British Columbia and that degree is an integral part of her core processes in staying organized in the crazy construction industry. Yvonne  started Christensen Design in 2009 and later went back to school for Interior Design finishing in 2016, the same year she started participating in the St. George Parade of Homes sometimes with 2 homes a show. In 2021, she co-founded House West Design, our specialty design division tailored specifically for our new construction/full furnish parade of homes ready consumers.

Yvonne loves designing the hard surfaces of a home from scratch from space planning to its unique and beautiful finishing touches. Through the years she has developed a special relationship with suppliers and sub contractors and has become great friends with the people she is lucky enough to collaborate with.

Currently, she loves clean lines and minimalist style without forgoing comfort, warmth, and that cozy feeling by adding layers and textures. However, her personal style is always evolving she is a true classic/traditionalist at heart. She loves working with her clients to truly understand their needs and create a space for them where form meets function.
